He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Cormier and Gertrude Cormier (Kendrick); and his brothers, Ron and Raymond. He is survived by: his wife Donna (Geldart); his children, Patrick, Marc and Jessica; his granddaughter Eva; and his siblings, Gerry, John (Sandy), Pauline, Nancy, Carol (Junior) and David. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
