He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Colpitts and Nellie Colpitts (Dole); his wife Frances Colpitts (Hawkins); and his siblings, Donald Colpitts, John Colpitts, Bill Colpitts, Marie Mather, Ann Williams, Joan Colpitts and Alta Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Black (Gloria), Garry Colpitts (Carol), Gaye Krause (Mike), Linda Brand (Colpitts), Trudy Elliott and Bernice Francois (Derek). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and also several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sherwood's Funeral Home (18 Scovil Rd, Norton, NB E5T1Z2). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sherwood's Funeral Home Chapel (18 Scovil Rd, Norton, NB E5T1Z2).
