She was predeceased by: her parents, Royden Bates and Bessie Bates (McEwen); her husband Millard Ganong; and her brother Douglas Bates. She is survived by: her children, Jamie Ganong (Beth) of Norton, NB, Dwight Ganong (Lorna) of Fredericton, NB and Bev Hennessy of Kingston, ON; her grandchildren, Samuel Ganong (Josie Lockhart), Jessica McFarlane (Scott), Adam Ganong (Jenna Knorr), Daniel Ganong (Meghan), Corey Ganong, Craig Ganong, Maureen Hennessy, Kathleen Hennessy and Clare Hennessy; her great grandchildren, Esther, Everett, Willow, Luca, Ida, Isla, Eli and Ezra; her daughter Noriko; her siblings, George Bates (Ilyne Zacharias) of Calgary, AB, Marilyn Mitton of Georgetown, ON and Kathy Markey (Carl Williams) of Quispamsis, NB; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Ganong. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
