He was predeceased by: his parents, Melbourne Otis and Helen Otis (Callaghan); his former wife Ruth Otis (Cosman); and his siblings, Melbourne, Donald, Ronald Otis, Stewart, Patricia Macumber and Lillian.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Otis (Morrell); his children, Kim Baptist (Duane), James Otis (Heidi), Tammy Moore (Brent), Edwin Otis (Marilyn), Janet Guptill (Keith), Judy Hall (Russell), Duane Otis (Jennifer) and Troy Otis (Tanya); his siblings, Merle Gorveatte (Ken) and Peter Otis (Susan); and his siblings-in-law, Bart Macumber and Linda Otis. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
