It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Grace McLaughlan (Norton, New Brunswick), born in Hatfield Point, New Brunswick, who passed away on August 28, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ricketson and Etta Ricketson (Vail); her husband Robert "Bob" McLaughlan; and her siblings, Harold, Joe Ricketson, Hazel Green, Mary Dempster and Thelma Trites.
She is survived by: her children, Heather McCafferty (Dale Giblin) of Kelowna, BC and Gerald Ricketson of Saint John, NB; her stepsons, Tom McLaughlan (Abby) of Lincoln, NB and Bob McLaughlan (Pearl) of Belleisle, NB; her grandchildren, Michelle McCafferty and Eric Giblin; and her siblings, Ralph Ricketson (Marilyn) of Norton, NB and Bertha Watters of Belleisle Creek, NB. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, and due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held.
