With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Anne Hourihan (Norton, New Brunswick), born in Salt Springs, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 9, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archibald Richard and Margaret Richard (Leblanc); her siblings, Eleanor Richard, Rita Elderkin, Mary Dempster, Ralph Richard, Marguerite Guimond and Florine Surette; and her half-brother Joe Richard.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Hourihan; her children, Donna Gilchrist (Jamie) of Norton, NB, Cathy Mahoney (Ken) of Erb Settlement, NB, Anthony Hourihan (Christine) of Passekeag, NB, Darren Hourihan (Tammy) of Drury's Cove, NB, Darlene Hourihan of Saint John, NB, Tanya O'Donnell (Nick) of Lower Millstream, NB and Krista Harper (Mark) of Stephenville, NL; her grandchildren, Connor, Madison, Emma, Braeden, Adam, Kyle, Abby, Declan, Parker, Ayden and Carson; and her sister Myreene Tobin (Chris) of Calgary, AB.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB where visitation, following strict COVID-19 protocols, will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm.
