He was predeceased by: his parents, Geertje Huiberdina (Verhagen) and Adrianus Cornelis Moerman; and his brothers, Willem, Cornelis and Adrianus.
He is survived by: his wife Pieternella "Nel" (van den Heuvel); his children, Adrianus (Ruth), Dennis (Karen) and Karen Terry (James); his grandchildren, Evangeline, Catherine and William; and his siblings, Jan, Gerhard and Nel.
