He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Viola Greene (Mason); his wife Lena Greene (Guptill); his son Russell Guptill; his grandson Jeffery Guptill; and his siblings, Hazel Greene, Allan Greene and Beverly Greene.

He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Green of Seal Cove, Roger Guptill (Faye), Curtis Parks of St. George, Elton Greene of Castalia and Dornell Greene of Castalia; his grandchildren, Eric Green, Adam Guptill, Carla Greene, Courtney Guptill and Alicia Briggs; his great grandchildren, Christian, Hayden Green, Talon, Dakota Guptill, Kenna Bryson, Riley, Vincent, Wyatt and Sophia Briggs; and his sister Marion Eagles of Rothesay, NB. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
