He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy and Joan (Stewart); and his sister Judy Jamieson. He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Jamieson (Rodney), Kathy Schotanus (Ricky) and Steven Jamieson (Veronica); his friend Chuck; and his pet Twitchy.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Melvin may be made to the NB Heart and Stoke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
