He was predeceased by: his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his close friend Janet Cote; his daughters, Laura MacDonald (Andrew) and Jessica Martin (Tyson); his stepson Ryan Cote; his grandchildren, Jaden MacDonald, Brennan MacDonald and Lennox Martin; his sister Thelma Molto (Vic); his aunt Gert Quinn; and his nieces and nephews, Blair, Wade and Tina Molto.

For those who choose to make a memorial donation in Bills memory, the family have suggested the Canadian Cancer Society or the Jump-Start program for youths in sports.
