She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hurley and Connie Hurley (Burns); her husband Fred Spicer; her siblings, Helen Giangrande, William Hurley and Richard Hurley; and her nephew Jason Hurley.
She is survived by: her siblings, Margaret Hurley (Allison Morgan) and Robert Hurley (Debbie); her godson Jared Morgan; her nephews, Rhys, Brock Morgan, Sean Giangrande and Peter Giangrande; her niece Kim Hurley Smith; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Nico Giangrande, Ethan Morgan, Hardy Morgan, Liam Hurley Smith, Sophia Giangrande, Katie Smith and Hadley Morgan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McAdam's Funeral Home & Crematorium (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (525 New Maryland Hwy, New Maryland, NB E3C1K1).
