She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McKay and Irma McKay (Braun); her husband Charles "Sonny" Dobson; her sisters, Rona Campbell and Irene McKay; and her sister-in-law Darlene Dobson.
She is survived by: her daughter Jillian Shealy (Jody) of New Maryland; her grandchildren, Celia "Lia" and Charlie; her siblings, Marlene MacBride (Michael), Frances Scott (Keith), Virginia Gibbons (Larry) and Harold McKay (Carolyn); and her brother-in-law Gaius Dobson.
Donations in her memory would be appreciated towards Catons Island, a place she loved because her daughter and grandchildren love it.
