He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswald Burtt and Pauline Burtt (Estey); and his niece Dr. Janet Hampton (Jones). He is survived by: his wife Catherine Burtt (Logan); his daughters, Shauna Burtt of New Maryland, NB and Sharla Hoyt (Jason) of Fredericton, NB; his grandson Graeme Hoyt; his sister Ardith Jones Lawrence; his nephew Derek Jones (Sheila); his nieces, Janell Alward (Troy) and Donna Alward (Gammon); and his nephew-in-law Dr. Geoffrey Hampton.
