He was predeceased by: his father Elwood John Merrill; and also Leroy Washburn. He is survived by: his mother Maxine Merrill (Dorcas); his wife Tracey Merrill (Harper); his son Ian Merrill of Charter's Settlement, NB; his pet Koby; his brother Boyd Merrill (Tracy); and his father-in-law Ronald Harper (Lorna). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
