He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Helen Hannaford; his parents, Ralph Ernest and Susan Mae Kirkpatrick (McKay); his grandparents, Clarence Avon and Hattie Marie Kirkpatrick (Wheeler) of Grand Falls; his children, Ralph James of St. John, Robert Clarence Avon of Milton, ON and Susan Grace of Miramichi; his grandchildren, Emily, Nicolas, Katelyn, Katherine and Courtney; and his brother Lloyd of Brampton, ON.
