Phyllis MacDonald Obituary
Mrs. Phyllis MacDonald of New Denmark passed away peacefully on February 2, 2022 at the Falls Villa in Grand Falls at the age of 96 years.
She is survived by her children, Sharon (Paul) Rogers of Oxford, NS, Sandra (Terry) Hansen of New Denmark and Bliss MacDonald of New Denmark. She is also survived by grandchildren, Jeffrey and Todd Lint, Rodney Fulton, Dion Hartt, Corey, Karl and Scott Hansen, ten great grandchildren, as well as great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, John "Jack" MacDonald in 1997 as well as her daughter, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Fulton of Presque Isle, Maine in 2019. Also by her parents, Johannes et Ida (Rasmussen) Jensen, three brothers, George, Lester and Maxwell Jensen and one sister, Alice MacDonald.
She was a school teacher for many years which she thoroughly enjoyed! Also, she worked as a Tupperware Manager. She was a true and loyal career woman! She will certainly be missed by family and friends! She loved music and dancing and she also had many wonderful times with a special friend, Ovide Ouellette, who predeceased her in 2010.
The family wishes to extend many thanks to the Grand Falls General Hospital, Dr. Richard and Dr. Blunston and all the hospital staff for their wonderful care given to their mother.
Also, a special thank you and appreciation to the staff of the Falls Villa for their wonderful care and compassion provided to her.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the St. Ansgar's Anglican Church in New Denmark on Thursday, February 10th from 1 to 2 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 10th at 2 p.m. from the St. Ansgar's Anglican Church in New Denmark with Rev. Harold Boomer officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery in Limestone Siding at a later date.
For those who wish, donations to St. Paul's Cemetery Fund, St. Paul's Church Fund or the S.P.C.A. would be appreciated by the family.
