She was predeceased by: her spouse Simon Brinkman; her parents, Soren Hansen and Bessie Hansen (Carlsen); her daughters, Debbie Brinkman and Janice Brinkman; and her siblings, Aimee Merrium, Gordon Hansen and Harmon Hansen.

She is survived by: her children, Peter Brinkman (Linda) of New Denmark, NB and Nancy Hawkins (Cyril) of Fredericton, NB; her grandchildren, Polly Brinkman-Mills, Ashley Hawkins, Joshua Hawkins and Kayla Hawkins; her great grandchildren, Stanley Brinkman-Mills and Rachel Brinkman-Mills; and her sisters, Yetta Christensen of New Denmark, NB and Betty Ketch (Arthur) of Jacksonville, NB.. She is also survived by her parents; her husband.
