Lorraine Josephine Melanson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Josephine Melanson (New Bandon Northumb Co, New Brunswick), who passed away on January 22, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Abernethy and Nellie Abernethy (Peterson). She is survived by: her children, Susan Taylor (Peter) of Fredericton, Brian Dunphy of Fredericton and Brad Dunphy (Leslie) of Golden, BC; her sisters, Louise Goodine, Nora Lynn Boyce (Glendon) of Marysville and Kathy Knorr (Jerry) of Fredericton; her daughters, Debbie Goodine and Shelly Estey; her grandsons, Brad Dunphy (Nuchjaree), Gordon Dunphy (Paige) and Colby Dunphy (Courtney); her great grandchildren, Ava and Hayes; and her stepchildren, Sheri, Lee and Chris Melanson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to the current public advisory with regards to Covid-19 there will be no service at this one time, a celebration of her life will be at a later date.
