He was predeceased by: his parents, Napoleon Couturier and Mary-Alice Couturier (McKinnon); his brother Peter Couturier; and his son Rick Couturier. He is survived by: his close friend Rowena Currie (White); his sister Margaret Scott of Truro, NS; his son Rob Couturier (Debbie) of Lincoln, NB; his stepdaughters, Kathy Martin (Glenn) of Woodstock, NB and Kim Pond (John) of Durham Bridge, NB; his grandchildren, Tyler Couturier, Jessica, Gerald, Travis Pond, Jeffrey, Mallory and Riley Martin; his nieces and nephews, Margaret Ann, Katherine (Kenneth) and Glen Scott (Heather); his great grandchild Chloe Knox; and also Wendy Couturier.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John's name to the Seymour Memorial Cemetery.
