She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace O'Donnell and Louise O'Donnell (Wilson); her siblings, Greg, Dan (Norman), Shirley and Stib (Murray); her husband Lloyd Russell; her son Stephen; and her son-in-law Dean Archibald.
Her greatest contribution to the community was her role in helping to establish the first ambulance service in Doaktown, studying her first aid religiously, and giving countless hours volunteering for ambulance service, once it was established.
