She was predeceased by: her parents, Clair Fraser and Irene Fraser (Gilmore); her son Brian Keith Douglass; her daughter-in-law Shelley Douglass; and her siblings, Pearl Armstrong, Jean Spilman, Gertrude Colpitts, Beth Renaldo, Ted, Fred, Peter and Jack Fraser.
She is survived by: her husband Stuart Charles Douglass; her children, Penny Joudrey (Randy Hiltz) of Fall River, NS, Kimberley Douglass (Tom Cameron) of Taymouth, NB, Sheldon Douglass (Margie) of Upper Musquodoboit, NS, Trent Douglass (Rose Leger) of Oromocto Lake, NB and Carolyn Yates (Bob) of Nashwaak Village, NB; her grandchildren, Mark (Amber), Andrew (Sandy), Ted, Laura (Jonathan), Matthew, Adam, Sydnie, John (Kallie), Victoria (Jordan), Amber, April and Scott; her stepgrandchildren, Eugene, Matthew, Scott, Cindy, Kevin and Janelle; her great grandchildren, Davison, Lennon and Benson; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Lauren, Tyler, Jace and Dougie; and her sister Vivian Roussel of Fredericton, NB. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2).
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Hillcrest United Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
