It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Ruben Taylor of Napan, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Taylor and Emma Taylor (Wood); his former wife Marion Taylor; his son Elwin "Ellie" Taylor; and his siblings, Marjorie Lutes, Verne Glendenning, Ina Loggie, Roland, Ira and Orville.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Taylor (Foran); his children, Patsy Sheasgreen (Harvey) of Sunny Corner, Carolyn McLenaghan (Scott) of Napan and Rick Taylor (Muriel) of Moncton; his daughter-in-law Roberta Taylor of Napan; his grandchildren, Chris, Stephanie, Shawn, Dianna, Melanie, Melissa, Grant, Troy and Tyler; and his stepchildren, Marian (Treusch) of Newcastle, Joyce Galliah (Joe) of Newcastle, Anne Savage (Kevin) of Derby, Norma MacLean (Rick) of Douglastown, Karen Malley (Rodney) of Russellville, Pauline Taylor (Vernon) of Bartibog, Danny Foran (Jocelyn) of Bartibog and Donnie Foran (Irene) of Bartibog. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews, 23 step-grandchildren; 44 step-great-grandchildren; and three step-great-great grandchildren.
Bill enjoyed a game of cards, and until we were all faced with COVID-19, he and Pat attended at least four card parties a week.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Carmel United Church, Black River Community Cemetery, or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
