With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rhoda Margaret Chapman of Napan, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Godfrey and Vera Jean Godfrey (Lockerbie) of Napan, NB.; her husband Gordon Olin Chapman; and her siblings, Perley Godfrey (Reta) and Jessie Godfrey Leet.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Flaherty (Gary) and Mark Chapman (Kathy); her grandson Rylin Flaherty of Napan, NB; and her sister Jean Fowlie (Archie) of Bathurst, NB. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home Ltd. (140 King St, Miramichi, NB E1N2N9). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel (140 King St, Miramichi, NB E1N2N9).
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to Carmel United Church, Pine Grove Cemetery, or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
