Edward W. Carter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward W. Carter of Napan, New Brunswick, born in Kouchibouguac, New Brunswick, who passed away on November 1, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Firth and Edith Carter (Randall); his siblings, Marion Smith, Barbara Tweedie, Alice Peterson, Marie Colpitts, Kenneth and Winston; and his siblings-in-law, Lorna Carter, Clayton Smith, Irvin Colpitts, James Tweedie, Curtis Peterson, Joseph Gardiner, Lloyd Flanagan and Gary Henry.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Carter (Williston) of Napan; his children, Janice Munn (Donald) of Doaktown, NB, Rev. Colleen Carter of Gabon, Rev. Brent Carter (Daphne) of Quispamsis and Keith Carter (Angela) of Miramichi; his grandchildren, Jarvis Munn (Jessica), Rev. Mikko Carter (Jessie), Miranda Mills (Evan), Gina Munn, Marissa Carroll (Cody), Kurri Carter (Kelsey) and Kamden Carter (Paula); his great grandchildren, Kingsley, Zaara, Eason, Korver, Alaster, Ezra, Tage, Anderson and Evander; and his siblings, Noreen Gardiner of Targettvillle, NB, Edna Flanagan of Beersville, NB and Charlie Carter (Thelma) of Kouchibouguac, NB. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Pentecostals of Miramichi Roof Project or Move the Mission would be appreciated by the family.
