It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvena Margaret MacDonald of Napan, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George MacDonald of Napan Bay; her parents, Burton Robie and Harriet Robie of Hardwicke; her siblings, John Robie (Ila), Charles "Bud" Robie (Florence), Billy Robie, Edward Robie and Stella Walsh (Billy); and her granddaughters, Sarah and Samantha MacDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell MacDonald (Darlene) of Napan Bay, Lillian Preston (Terry) of Lloyd Road and Susan MacDonald of Napan Bay; her grandchildren, Jeffery Preston (Cathy) of St. Paul, NB, Jeremy MacDonald (Michelle) of Chalk River, ON and Jenny Sonier (Adam) of North Napan; her great grandchildren, Coralena, Caileigh and Cohen; and her siblings, Mae Walsh (late Byron) of Miramichi Bay, Dorothy Hay (late Lorne) of Fredericton, Joyce Gregan (James) of Hardwicke, Ruth MacDonald (Graham) of Hardwick and Everett "Debbie" Robie (Lou) of Hardwicke.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the SPCA, or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
