It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William James Jefferson (Nackawic, New Brunswick), born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on January 31, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jefferson and Agnes Jefferson (Saunders); his great grandchild Callie; his siblings, Dorothy, Betty, Rose and James; and his brothers-in-law, Al Logan, Bob Phillips and Wayne Briggs.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Tracey; his children, Andrea Rushton (Mike) of Dartmouth, NS and Shawn Jefferson (Heather) of Burlington, ON; his grandchildren, Steve, Colton, Tyler, Matthew, Jordan, Shannon and Brianna; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Daniel, Elijah, Leah, Emma and Brooklyn; his sister Ina Logan of Toronto, ON; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Phillips of Harvey, NB, Carolyn Russell (Allen) of Harvey, NB, Betty Briggs of Harvey, NB and Rose Daigle (Norman) of Harvey, NB. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
