He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Jane (Moore); his parents, Lezly Shannon and Eva Zeller (Stewart); and his sisters, Sheila Pflieger and Martha Farnsworth.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn MacFarlane (Kevin) and Colin Shannon; and his stepchildren, Debbie Deane (Mike) of Hamilton, Cindy Ayrton (Ed) of Hamilton, Michael Linton and Guelph. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
