He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Joey Smardon (Melissa), Cassie Smardon (Randall Wasson) and Kimberly; his granddaughter Autumn Smardon; his siblings, Stevie Smardon (Ida), Don Smardon (Linda), Doris Bambury (Wayne) and Ivy Brown (Donnie); his sisters-in-law, Jackie Sabean (David) and Christine Wagar (Tim); his mother-in-law Pearl Ponder; and his pets, Daisy, Scarlett and Sweetie Pie. He is also survived by Loving nieces and nephews.
