She was predeceased by: her parents, Angus Gladwin and Emma Gladwin (Dechman). She is survived by: her husband Danny Merryweather; her children, Derek Merryweather (Julia) of Canning, NS, Derron Merryweather (Cathy), Danielle Taylor (Paul) of Dartmouth, NS and Darcy Merryweather (Margo) of Brookfield, NS; her grandchildren, Bradley, Spencer, Annika, Olivia, Emily, Addison, Matthew, Sarah and Peter; her siblings, John Gladwin (Betty), Carol Hingley (Laurie), Bill Gladwin, Louise Sabean (Dale) and Charlie Gladwin (Jean); and her sister-in-law Anna Allen (George). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
