He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Spurr and Myrtle Spurr (Luxton); and his siblings, Kendall Spurr, Edith Clark, Maxine Clark and Geraldene Penney.
He is survived by: his children, Darren Spurr of Nova Scotia and Sherry Handspiker (Kenny) of Nova Scotia; his siblings, Darrell Spurr (Myra) and Dorothy Butler (Charles); and his sister-in-law Alberta Spurr. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
