He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton McMullin and Ruby McMullin; his brother Halton McMullin; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Dempsey, Judy Reid (late Keith), George Reid, Kevin Dempsey, Brian Dempsey (late Connie) and David Dempsey.

He is survived by: his wife Nadine McMullin (Dempsey); his children, Cindy Christie, Shirley McNabb (Jim) and Jamie McMullin; his grandchildren, Brian (Samantha), Brittanie (Roland) and Cali; his great grandchildren, Brianna and Hazel; his siblings, Gail Powell (Clinton) and Calvin McMullin (Janice); his sister-in-law Ruth McMullin; and his extended family, Wayne Dempsey, Dan Dempsey (Bonnie), John Dempsey, Patrick Dempsey (Lorna), Steven Dempsey (Brenda), Ellen Reid, Mary Folkins (Burt) and Brenda Lawless (Fred). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
