She was predeceased by: her parents, Dana Spence and Dora Spence (Leeworthy); her stepfather John "Jack" Sprague; her sisters, Catherine Fearon, Nancy Clinansmith and Diane McCann; and her son-in-law Ron Waite.
She is survived by: her husband Rodney; her children, Barry (Joanne), Joanne Waite, Jeffrey (Diane), Peter (Paula) and Kentville; her grandchildren, Graham, Josh, Jordan, Connor, Lucas, Hannah, Nathan and Grace; her great grandchildren, Connor, Sarah, Lochlan, Aubrey, Emme Marilyn, Warren and Eli; and her brothers, Harold Spence (Charlotte) of Saskatoon, SK and John Sprague (Audrey) of Essex, ON..
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (3 W. Main Street, Port Elgin, NB E4M1L6).
