It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gordon Lester Pond (Mount Pleasant, New Brunswick), who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his significant other June Martin; his daughter Denise; and his sisters, Jean Carroll and Florence "Babe" Hynes. He is survived by: his children, Keith Pond (Flora Seymour) and Suzanne Viggers (Guy Viggers); his grandchildren, Stephen Pond (Seneca King), Spencer Viggers and Krista Viggers; his siblings, Reg Pond and Edie Anderson (Jim); and his close friends, Sue and Brad Manuel.
A graveside service will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 9:30am (COVID-19 restrictions apply).
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Gordon's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, NL Chapter.
