With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maurice Byrne of Moosehorn Creek, New Brunswick, born in Southfield, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 31, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Byrne and Mary Byrne (McGinnis); his brothers, Fred (Carolus) and Paul Byrne; and his brother-in-law George Monahan.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Byrne (Cummings) of Moosehorn Creek, NB; his children, Maurice Byrne (Alyssa) of Moosehorn Creek and Meagan Byrne of Moosehorn Creek; his sister Angela Monahan of Roachville, NB; his grandchildren, Tess and Logan Landry; his sisters-in-law, Clare Byrne and Patricia Byrne; and his nephews, Shawn and Lou Monahan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
