He is survived by: his wife Joan Ward; his daughter Carolyn Gauvin (Kevin); his grandchildren, Aislinn, Kaelan, Logan and Ethan; his siblings, Mary Stackhouse, Shirley MacDonald (Murray), Fred Ward (Sharlyn) and Leonard Ward (Iva); and his sister-in-law Sandra. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and, friends.
