He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlie Cairns and Elizabeth Cairns (Murray); and his sister Elizabeth (Wheaton). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis (Auffrey); and his brother Kevin (Sue). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
