He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kristiansen and Jean Kristiansen (Compton); his siblings, Roy, Ernest and Ethel; his fathers-in-law, Edward Killam and Ronald Copp; his brother-in-law Allen Lewis; and his nephew Robert Lewis.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Killam); his children, Tanya Poirier (David), Susan Duplessis, Sandra Kristiansen, Denica Matte (Yves), Laura Kristiansen and Norman Kristiansen (Diane); his grandchildren, Johnathan (Lori), Luke, Cody, Jalen, Xavier, Kayden and Liam Padmae; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Zack and Emily; his sisters, Ruth Lewis, Mae Milligan (Grant), Doris Dymont (Eric), Beverly Breen (Doug) and Brenda Beaton (Brian); his sister-in-law Grace Kristiansen; and his mother-in-law Laura Copp.
