She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Budd and Thelma Budd (Lutes); her husband Joseph Smith; her son Douglas; and her sisters, Hatti Allen and Patricia Sherwood.

She is survived by: her sons, Joey Smith (Sharon) of Moncton, Scott Smith (Linda) of Dundas and Kevin Smith (Joanne) of Moncton; her grandchildren, Justine Dempster (Nathan), Alisse Tramley (Jacob), Jemm, Amber, Dougie, Travis, Caitlin and Kody; her great grandchildren, Braelyn and Caden; her siblings, Shirley Cripps (Stafford) of Riverview, Freda Sprague (Ken) of Moncton, Percy Budd (Helen), Donald Budd, Ivan Budd (Sharon) and Harold Budd; and her brother-in-law Robert Sherwood (late Patricia). She is also survived by her several nieces and nephews.
