He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Melvin and Myrtle Melvin (Killam); and his siblings, David and Mary Ellen. He is survived by: his siblings, Alice Jones (late Gary) of Salisbury, Betty Melvin of Riverview, Julia Steeves (Greg) of Petitcodiac, Cora Melvin of Petitcodiac, Byron Melvin, Morgan Melvin of Havelock, Gerald Melvin of Toronto and Keith Melvin (Wanda) of Petitcodiac. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
