Velma Carter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Carter (Moncton, New Brunswick), who passed away on October 9, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman Jones (Gurney) and Annie Mae Jones; her husband Ronald Edward; and her brother Delphin. She is survived by: her children, Cathy (Brian) of Moncton, Jeff (Suzanne) of Moncton, Sandy of Moncton and Shelley (Ted) of Hackett's Cove, NS.; her brother Ewen Jones; her grandsons, Ryan Chapman (Sophie) and Andrew Carter; and her great grandchildren, Theo and Finn Chapman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Instead of flowers, her wishes would be for donations to go to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital.
