He was predeceased by: his parents, Pius Cormier and Eva Cormier (Landry); and his sisters, Rachelle, Juliette and Alphonsine.
He is survived by: his wife Donalda (LeBlanc); his daughter Jacqueline "Jackie" Victor; his son-in-law Carl; his grandchildren, Danielle (Réjean) and Alec (Amélie); his sister Ethel Maillet (Oscar); and his brother-in-law Ulysse Gaudet. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
