It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thérèse Melanson (Moncton, New Brunswick), who passed away on April 1, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxime Richard and Rose Richard; her siblings, Corine Richard, Bernadette Guimond (Girard Guimond), Jeanne Babineau (Laurent Babineau) and Jean Paul Richard (Alice Gallant); and her daughter Shirley Melanson-O'Neil of Moncton.

She is survived by: her siblings, Cécile Dupuis (Norman Dupuis), Huberte Myers (Len Myers) and Edward Richard (Janice Duplissey); and her children, Raymond Melanson, Gagetown, Donny Melanson of Shediac, Danny Melanson of Red Deer, AB, Janice Melanson-Mepham of Shediac Cape, Denise Melanson-Landry of Pointe and Chêne.

Her humor was the highlight of my days at work and our chats were warm, loving and thoughtful about her family, especially her children. She said she would do anything for her children except give them $ that she did not have. She told me she lived a good life and carries all the memories in her head and she had a strong mind right to the end. She loved pancakes too. God bless you all. I will miss her too.”
