He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lawrence and Mary Margaret Connors (DeWolfe); and his brother Georgie Benoit. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Barbara Ann O'Brien (Billy) of Moncton, NB, John (Nancy) of Antigonish, NS and Wendy (Mike) of Brooklyn, NS; his grandchildren, Courtney (Mark), Tyler (Julie), Cole, Andie and Brooke; his great grandchild Jayce; his siblings, Karen DeWolfe, Margaret Benoit and John Leo Benoit; and his sister-in-law Wendy Benoit. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
