He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Franklin Rufus Merrill and Irene Phyllis Wright; his wife Maureen Elizabeth Whalen; his children, Kim Wilson (Wayne) and Todd Merrill; his grandchildren, Nathan Wilson (Manon Dupuis) and Mackenzie Wilson (Dylan Thomas); his siblings, Jeff Merrill (Joyce), Jean Harrison (Dave) and Ian Merrill (Brenda); and his siblings-in-law, Jane Sunderland and Bill Whalen. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Steve's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of New Brunswick, People for Animal Wellbeing, or a charity of your choice - preferably one that aligns with his passions.
