He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gerard Johnson, Flora Johnson, Emery Richard and Corinne Richard; and his uncle Jerry Robichaud.

He is survived by: his parents, Diane Johnson (Ovila) and Ronald Richard; his uncles, Clarence Robichaud, Abraham Robichaud (Stella), Gérard Robichaud (Germaine), Alpha Robichaud (Célina), Jeannette Daigle (Livain), Flora Johnson, Linda Johnson, Annette Tweedie (Edgar), Rod Richard (Jennifer), Ivan Richard (Diane) and Gerry Richard; and also Jillian Snider. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
