She was predeceased by: her parent Edward Pitre; and her husband Douglas Higgs. She is survived by: her parent Florence Pitre (Gallant); her children, Darren (Mireya) and Tracy Higgs; her granddaughters, Izabella and Olivia; and her siblings, Jerry, Eddie (Sherry), Bill, Lillian Leger, Jackie Leaman and Phyllis LeBlanc (Victor). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
