With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Anne Symes of Moncton, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 16, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Griffin and Rita Griffin (Gallant); and her brother Steven Griffin. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Cecil Symes; her children, Dr. Brent Symes (Sarah) of Edmonton, AB and Kathryn Champion (Robert); her stepdaughter Sandra Gillis-Saudin (Anwar) of Mississauga, ON; her grandchildren, Suzette, Charlize, Laura, Alyson, Shadia, Faisal and Sabrina; and her siblings, Edward (Jeanette) of Quispamsis, NB, Allan (Shirley) of Lower Sackville, NS and Cynthia Noel of Riverview, NB. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
