He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey James Sanford and Ida Blanche Sanford (Berry); his siblings, Freeman Sanford (Olive), Ralph Sanford (Erdeena), Raymond Sanford (Elaine) and Jean Webster; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Keddy (Debbie), Raymond Keddy (Diane), Russell Keddy, Jack Keddy (Karen), David Hall (Norma) and Janet Keddy (Ted).
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Richard (Lulu), Christine (Rennie Gadsby) and Douglas Sanford; his brother Wayne (Celeste) of Kentville, NS; his nephew Roger Sanford (Debbie) of New Glasgow; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Hall (David), Karen Keddy (Jack), Elaine Sanford (Raymond), Debbie Keddy (Mike), Ted Keddy (Janet) and Murray Keddy (Loraine). He is also survived by many friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Canadian Heart and Stroke or a local charity of your choosing.
