We bid farewell to Rita O'Brien (Moncton, New Brunswick), born in Trois-Ruisseaux, New Brunswick, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 29, 2024. Rita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Napoléon and Laurianne (Jacob); her husband Charles; and her brothers, Ulysse, Stanley and Albert of Cap-Pelé.

She is survived by: her children, Louise O'Brien of Shemogue, Dina Austen of Baie Verte, Charles (Deborah) of Toronto, ON and James (Lilly) of Moncton; her siblings, Corinne Léger of Shediac, Rose Wright (Gerald) of Toronto, ON, Allias (Jeannine) of Cap-Pelé and Jacques (Linda) of Cap-Pelé; and her sisters-in-law, Viola and Camilla. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
