It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard B Colpitts of Moncton, New Brunswick, born in Hillsborough, New Brunswick, who passed away on March 4, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Colpitts and Esther Colpitts (West); his son Stuart K. Colpitts; his brother William Colpitts; and his sister-in-law Carol Lewis.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Erin; his wife Marilyn Colpitts (Lewis); his daughter Valerie McDermott (Tim) of Rawdon, NS; his stepsons, Brent Porter and Vaughn Porter (Charlotte) of Moncton, NB; his sister Anna Hutchinson (Roland) of Hillsborough, NB; his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Colpitts of Riverview, NB and Herman Lewis; his grandchildren, Kasey McDermott of Rawdon, Alec, Morgan Porter and Nicholas Colpitts Lwr (Chantal Cormier); and his great grandchild Haidon.
Donations in Richard's memory made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to Lewisville Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
